How exactly does 6 months create a deterrent for future PED cheats. Time and again this shady Mexican led cartel has proven that they're willing to bend the rules against what the claim to stand for if it enhances their financial interest.

6 months and zero fine for intentionally cheating? If this was college, you could miss 6 months and still graduate in 4 years. Ridiculous!

The NCAA is surely up near the top, with all the dirty dealings that go on under the table in any of its major "amateur" sporting organizations.

But the WBC could very well take the crown.

The WBA is probably worse, and arguably much worse.

The so called WBC clean boxing programme clearly isn’t fit for purpose.
Ok so there’s no fine for Canelo and just a six month ban I get that but to not have any follow up regulations after this such as regular, random drug testing is where it looks dodgy to me cause we all know or suspect that Canelos career has been based on being able to cut weight like nobody else in the history of the sport all so he could beat up on smaller opponents on the night, that he never gave up his fight night weights should tell you as much and for this bit alone it should merit some stringent testing.
As Paulie M said though.....it doesn’t look like they really wanna catch him as it’s a big pay day for everyone involved which is why the red headed Diva has the cheek to say on Twitter “you all need me”as Canelo isn’t the brightest tool in the box someone has obviously been in his ear and had him delete it but still what he wrote is true, all of those involved do need him which is a sad state of affairs.

Agree 100 % but even they cannot compete with the state commissions. They see boxer break their own rules then say they "Did nothing wrong "

Sanctioning bodies are like public restrooms…Which is the dirtiest? Probably depends on when you ask…
