Man,Just read the "top 5 most skilled fighters from 1980-2010" on another site, by a featured fan writer. The guy seems to be a pretty hardcore Pacquiao fan.

    Got it:

    1: Leonard
    2: Mayweather
    3: Tyson
    4: Pacquiao
    5: Jones Junior

Man, I don't know where to start. Like it's a guy the web site promotes heavily. Dude, does anyone actually know anything about boxing anymore on these sites, or are articles just based on how many Paclanders they can get to read them?

Man, Pacquiao ahead of Jones Junior?

Pacquiao in the list full stop?

Man, I'd ask serious questions, even if he appeared in a top 10 list. Maybe even a top 20.

Manny aint a skilled fighter. Certainly not elite at that. Man, I think he showed he was considerably less skilled than Marquez in both fights.

Man, as in, would you say Pacquiao is even closr to say Duran, in skills? I don't think he's better than Duran in any aspect of boxing whatsoever.

    What about:

    Whittaker
    Toney
    Hopkins

    Guys like that?

You're throwing a tantrum cause Pac is in there but you dont have a problem with Mayweather being at number two.

    Biased much?

Whitaker, Chavez, Hearns, Morales, Barrera, Hopkins, Hagler, Toney, Benitez, DLH, Holmes & Marquez all have better boxing skills than Pacquiao IMO.... not saying they are all `greater` fighters accomplishment wise but they have more skills.

If its `most skilled` as opposed to `greatest` tho then its hard to argue against Mayweather`s inclusion & harder to argue Pac should be included.

Agreed. Mayweather, Pacquiao and Tyson should not be on that list.

I'd go for (in no order):

    1. Leonard
    2. Whitaker
    3. Toney
    4. Hagler
    5. Duran

  7. Interceptor

All fighters don't have the same opportunity to accomplish the same achievements.

Mayweather is quite obviously one of the top 3 most skilled fighters ever.

Facts such as this are unaffected by what fighter you happen to like.

Pacquiao is a lot of things. He's not ridiculously skilled

When the **** did Pac become so God-like. Why do they over-rate him so much???? He drains fighters to win, that shouldn't be considered to make him great. This **** infuriates me. The man is cheating history, with a whole bunch oif people helping him to do so. Plus he refuses to take blood tests to prove that he is clean. c'mon planet earth wake up. Fighters who really go up in weight and fight champs at their best, Trinidad, Oscar, Mayweather, Hopkins, Winky, Pavlik. No catchweights, no bull****.
