    thanks!

amirs jab is very very good. he beat mallignaggi with pretty much that jab alone. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFij3RKev14[/ame]

ive stated time after time in this thread. marquez, manny, floyed, and others are better fighters all round. more composed, better technique and better foot wrok. but still amir has great ability to land fast clean shots to body and head. of cause he isnt the finsihed article.

your looking at the kotelnik fight and summising thats all he's capable of. he fought in a certain way in that fight to ensure victory( first world title shot) the first 5 rounds of maidana fight khan landed some excellent shots as good as anything manny would. but the rest of the fight showed the work amir has still to do. boxing isnt just about landing shots and it takes time for some fighters to realise that and attend to the rest of there game. its all about experience.

As good as anything Manny would?!? :rofl Pac wouldn't have needed more than a round to bomb Maidana out with an offensive variety that Amir can never hope to attain! Are you Lazarus' brother or summat?

if im incapable of analysing fighters explain this. amir khan is freddie roach's most talented charge apart from pacman, thats according to freddie. this is in a gym with benadavidas, porter, martyrosyan, and more.

according to freddie amir khan dominates the early rounds, maybe the first 4 or 5 against manny then manny starts to take over. apparently manny can't handle khans speed, jab and accuracy early on.

the person who said " apparently amir out jabs pauli so now he has the best jab in boxing"
firstly did i say best jab?? no i said one of the best.
second amir didnt just out jab him he pretty much beat him with only his jab. landed numerous times every round. his jab is very fast hard and accurate.

people are on this thread say he has poor accuracy. amir khan is one of the only fighters to throw numerous punches. up to 6 or 7 at a time and land most of them. its impossible to be 100% precise when you throw at that speed, but when you look at his fights against earl, gomez, irish chap, barrerra, and early against maidana all fighters that present there chin and give him a target, he lands 5 shots without reply on a regular basis.

    so there!

he's presented with a chin he finds it!

You would have to quote Shane Mosley to be quicker (hand speed) and with more power than Khan , a lot more .

Gamboa , maybe ??? in flashes he's much quicker than Khan , consitantly over the course of a fight he's not .

Chris John , is a similar type fighter to Khan , but just a little less hand speed , he has that fast solid jab and uses the 1 -2 really well off the jab .

Donaire , when this guy see's an opening he's one of the quickest fighters in the world , very effective boxer / puncher , again like Gamboa id say Donaire in flashes pisses on Khan's hand speed and accuracy , but he's a different fighter to Khan .

I like Amir. Don't think he's the most accurate puncher, but he's got speed to burn and heart - that'll bring him a long way.

As regards the stories from the gym and all, well Freddie Roach has been known to spout a lot of **** in his time.

So maybe he shouldn't throw five-six shots and land only two of them. Maybe he should throw two shots and land both, properly placed?

Either way, you're disproving your point. He clearly isn't very accurate - just fast and busy.

And to quote you: so there.

yeah true and he's bound to big up amir whilst he doesn't need to with manny. but the thing is you always here about amir in that gym and not realy the otrher guys(apart from manny). you here freddie talk about amir in the same breath as manny and floyd. maybe he's going over the top but why doesn't jhe say the same things about porter, motyrosyan and benavidas and co?

At times there's a lack of class tho in his combo's
(ironically, due to lack of accuracy)
Dont get me wrong, he is an exciting fighter. I thought after the Presscot defeat and watching the Kotelnik fight, he was set to change his style but he seems to have went back to his old frantic style which will make for good fights

I think he's developed his accuracy very well, considering what he what he was like when first began as a pro. The Malignaggi fight proves this. Once he got use to Paulie's movements, he began finding the mark regularly.

he changes from fight to fight. freddie comes up with a different game plan and amirs versitile enough to follow through, but also nieve enough to forrget the game plan half way through as he proved in the maidana fight. people must admit he showed great versatility in beating kotelnik, maidana, salita, mallinaggi in completly diferent ways.

finally someone agreeing. pauli isnt easy to hit. just ask cotto. at one point amir was landing every shot he through. mainly in the mid to late rounds.
