He's come a long way, and he's still learning. Yes, when he's hurt or under serious pressure, he'll launch loads of shots in an attempt to ward off any attacks coming his way. But this is more of a defensive issue. He needs to learn that throwing flurries of your own and exhausting yourself by running around the ring blindly, isn't the only way to protect yourself. In fact, it's has its shortcomings at times.

So defense is his biggest weakness. The rest - accuracy, combinations etc - are coming along nicely.

 

But to answer your question, other than Pacweather, there aren't many that match his speed. But there are a few elite fighters such as JMM, who out-do him in the accuracy department.

I think people are in for a shock when they see khan fight peterson. If anything the maidana fight would have fully restored khans confidence and he will have learnt a hell of alot about himself. On the subject of speed, i actually think khan has reached his pinnacle but with power and accuracy he will improve as he gets older. Khan needs to work on his footwork, learn how to use lateral movement and vary the speed of his punches a little. With his speed he can get away with throwing shots as feints to open a guy up to counter.

 

i think he hits people with more punches than he doesnt hit them with.

watch his fights again,how many punches does he miss,and compared to how many he throws and lands.

For those who think Khan has no accuracy at all:

Khan v Kotelnik - Total Punches landed 22% (Agreed one of the lowest percentages but against a fighter like Kotelnik it is reasonable, also worth mentioning in that fight Khan landed 33% power punches and only 16% jabs this proves he was merely using the jab to find openings not accurate but quite clever I would say consider he won every round)

Khan v Malignaggi - Total Punches landed 40% (compared to Malignaggi 24%) compare this to Hatton v Malignaggi Hatton landed 24% and Cotto landed 33% of his punches.

Khan v Maidana - Total punches landed 45%

If anything Khan is improving facts speak louder than opinions, accuracy is growing and in time he will be as accurate as Pacman and Floyd

 

Judah. Guzman. Gamboa. Floyd. Pac. Dirrell. all a lot faster and do not throw arm punches like Amir.

Also, a lot of his shots hit the gloves and barely lands clean shots.

 

I wouldn't say he very accurate, he shoeshines a lot and doesn't adjust without advice when something isn't working. I dunno...I suppose he just isn't a sharp guy in the ring or out of it.
He's fast as **** though, maybe Alexander is close in speed-maybe, can't think of anyone else at the weight though. He's noticeably quicker than anybody else.
