Yes there was but that is very common to have red dye on your hand wraps because they use brand new gloves and the dye does bleed on the hand wraps...

It's ridiculous how Cotto fans talk about the fight as if it's proven fact. It's not.

 

its not, we all know that, you can say he did have tape over his Knuckles because the photo supports that.. but even then the tape could have moved over the knuckle area as well due to the moisture, your hands do get wet when your laced up.. and removing those gloves may have pulled that tape over the knuckle area we just dont know.
People aruge the way Cottos face looked, but that was due to taking alot of hard shots and his bone structor, Pacquiao did cotto in far worse and nobody is saying loaded gloves I wonder why?

The proof is Margarito won the fight. He shouldnt have beaten Cotto, hes not that good. Hes probably been cheating most of his career.

 

No proof but anytime a fighter gets caught cheating it's safe to say wasn't his first time doing it, so there cast doubt about the legitmacy of his wins.

 

People aren't saying that they know Margarito cheated; they are saying that is probable based on his willingness to cheat. I don't give the benefit of the doubt to known cheaters...

Margarito was a stylistic nightmare for Miguel Cotto... He fought Cotto exactly the way he fought Cintron and Williams and just about every fighter, the problem is Tony fought his fight and Cotto came with the wrong game plan..... thats what happend.

 

Theres isnt any proof that Margo cheated ! So, why the hell does this topic come up so often...even "Cotto" has dismissed his lost as Margo being the better fighter that night. There isnt anything that "WE" Cotto fans or anyone else can do to clear this. But food for thought here is why, would Margo want to fight "Cotto" and not SSM after that one sided ass whoopin he took. If in his heart he beat "Cotto" fair and square than why rematch that fight.

There has been NO HARD EVIDENCE produced to prove without a shadow of a doubt that Marg cheated. Which is why his fine and suspension was so light. They couldn't justify handing down a HARSH punishment against Antonio when the evidence just didn't support the accusations. THere were traces of elements that make up plaster of pairs but those same elements are found in common lotions. So no one really knows what Marg used or did not use. but he did get a suspension.:huh

 

No one said he's afriad of testing....he agreed tot he test which took floyd by surprise. After speading false rumors and accusations about Manny I'm sure Floyd thought Manny would be so upset that he would just say he's not fighting Floyd. To Floyd's surprise manny accepted but with stipulations on how close to the fight blood could be withdrawn and that was all Floyd needed to prevent the fight from happening.
