Is there a better chance of PBF-Cotto than PBF-Margarito next year?

If Cotto wins i have no doubt Mayweather will fight him next year but should Margarito win i have a feeling he wont fight him...

I agree. Floyd would most likely retire if Marg won.

To the ill-informed, that would count as ducking.

I have that same feeling as well. Seems as if Margo has never been much of an attraction for Mayweather. Hopefully whoever wins, the uproar for Floyd to fight him will eventually be enough to bait the champ into fighting him.

If Cotto wins, I think PBF-Cotto will be made in the future.

If Margarito wins, I don't think he'll fight Mayweather. It would be too much risk for Floyd, for little reward. Margarito isn't so popular.

    Yes, obviously.

Cotto is much more popular (represents more money) than Margarito.

It depends who wins in july. But PBF slyle would do better against Margo than Cotto.

You can keep going on thinking he's easy to beat. That flies in the face of 8 million dollars unanswered. If old ass DLH with a bum rotator cuff can land on Mayweather then Margarito sure will.

10 second flurries of nothingness versus 100 punches + a round. And same size/chin too? Get outta here.

Mayweather is a good, if not great 140lber. He's not so hard at 147/154. Fact is he isn't facing the top guys at either weight class. He'd sooner fight Cotto than Margarito because Cotto isn't that big and is methodical.

Next year? Neither...expect Mayweather vs. Hatton II or Pac.

If Arum is gonna put one of his cash cows in there with Mayweather, it'll more likely be Cotto than Pacquiao.

Cotto is a live (and slight) underdog. Pac would get his ass kicked and Arum knows it.

That might be true, and it would be a much better fight. But there's probably more money in a fight w/ Pac, and its much easier to win for Mayweather. SOunds like his recent MO.
