In recent years there have been quite a lot of old fights that have been uploaded to youtube. Last year I went on a binge, so my memory is a bit distorted probably.

JLC won. It wasnt a couldve. He did lose but, as with Haney/Loma and Tank/Pitbull and Manny/JMM

Majority of people had Floyd 7-5 but you say it wasnt close?

Many people disagree with you including the famous "Breadman" Edwards

Even if you think he lost, JLC was an established champ at 135, physically much stronger, skillful, and had a big, hard head that probably didn't feel all that good against Floyd's brittle hands. There wouldn't have been any shame in going straight up to a fighter like JLC and losing.

It wasn't close. Floyd barely got out of second gear, landed whenever he felt like it, and counted rounds until he had enough. He could've fought round 12 and beaten up DLH the same way he had done in 9, 10, and 11. Oscar did nothing but flail away and try to con his way to victory. You probably think that EM vs. Pac 1 was close too, right?
You didn't win if your opponent landed 65% of his power shots. LOL. Floyd lit him up and finished stronger, when the fight was there for Maidana to win it. He failed, though.

Floyd couldn't smash a grape!! ROFLMAO He was caught red handed blatantly cheating 24 hours before meeting Pac on May1 2015. Remember IV gate ?? Remember in the actual "fight" Floyd Sr Fluffys Daddy/trainer was heard to admonish his cowardly son with this " Why are you fighting scared son, you know youre losing this fight don't you" ?? The Vegas judges did their duty by giving Floyd a winning decision he really didn't deserve.
When the saline fiasco was made public after the fight & Floyd was under scrutiny The head honcho of the NSAC was asked if they were going to investigate Floyd being caught receiving an Illegal, excessive amount of Saline drip in his own home 24 hours before the fight he replied. " Mr Mayweather did nothing wrong we will not be investigating this matter" !! LOL Yeah right he only broke 3 of the NSAC's own rules concerning Saline drip treatment for supposed Dehydration !!!!!!!!!!!!! Then came the 4th rule break the NSAC granted Floyd a retroactive TUE for the saline 21 days after the alleged offences because he'd never applied for one as the rule stated BEFORE the treatment was performed.
Yeah MVC, Floyd smashed Pac ok didnt he ROFLMAO !! No wonder boxing has lost all credibility as a bona fide combat sport today its considered Sports Entertainment on a par with the WWE where the results are scripted lol

Love him or hate him, Floyd’s defence was phenomenal and as a fan of the sweet science I will never get bored of seeing it. His fights were not as entertaining as Pacquaio’s imo but that should not take away anything from his ability and boxing prowess.

I don’t think you can say that Floyd was boring, I can see that you could get bored of the way he won fight after fight using his evasive tactics but I was impressed with his accuracy and his defensive skills, definitely not a boring fighter.
The fighter I found most boring was Andre Ward. I personally don’t think he deserves to be called a legend because he was a dirty fighter, but he’s a hof. I think Andre Ward is a boring fighter, constantly trying to clinch and leading with his head or elbow. He’s awful to watch for me.

I can appreciate some “boring” fighters because of their skill sets, but I refuse to watch another Hopkins fight.

Plenty. If you're including entire careers - every division at which people were champs - then you're talking about the incredibly nice to watch super feather & lightweight versions of PBF as well.

And even at welterweight or light middle he wasn't honestly as boring as, say, a Virgil Hill. To say otherwise is straight hatin'.

Interesting how the thread piped down after I flicked the light switch on. Roaches scattered.

You are demonstrating your boxing ignorance. Floyd is one of, if not the greatest boxing technition of all time. Obviously you know very little about.

    No.

Mayweather was like watching paint dry. Didn't he know it's an entertainment sport.

When you watch a Mayweather fight you know its almost definitely going the full 12. You know it's gonna be boring as ****, you know you're gonna think about turning the fight off

Baldomir, Pacqauio, Guerrero, Canelo, Mosley, Berto, Marques, Maidana 2, De la hoya, and so on and so on!

    TBE indeed. The Boringest Ever!!!!

I think Chess, Golf or Snooker would be more your kind of sports

Mayweather single -handedly turned a generation of casuals .-possible boxing fans, off boxing for life. The Pacqauio fight in particular was a disgrace.
