Is there a case for Badou Jack to be lineal in 2 divisions if he beats Stevenson?

I believe when he faced DeGale they were consensus #1 and #2 in the division.
He beat him and got robbed, now if he beats Stevenson he becomes lineal at 175.

    Discuss.

Yes and no. The draw wasn't really a robbery. It was a razor close fight.
I had it for Jack but can easily see it as a draw.

And at 175, if he does become Lineal then it will have a big * next to the title, because of Stevensons opposition.
    I mean, Stevenson hasn't fought a top 10 contender since 2014.

Not really convinced in their #1 and #2 placement to establish a new lineage. The division was and still is far too un-unified.

Badou Jack should be universally liked by boxing fans, everything I've seen from him.

He has made jackasses out of us all, several times over.
