I reckon Golovkin should be ready to end class after just a couple rounds, really.

    For me, no.

Brook has been buzzed by far lighter hitting fighters. Ok, Brook is a big WW so he could have been a bit weaker from making weight, so his chin will probably be stronger at MW, but GGG is a huge puncher so this will negate any increased punch resistance in Brook.

Now, Brook's ability and skill may make it harder for GGG to land his shots, but Brook isn't slick enough to go 12 rounds without feeling Golovkin's power.

    Very little chance.
Of course you'll never know for sure how someone responds to moving up 13lbs, but it probably will be a very easy defence for Golovkin.
I would be very surprised if Brook would make it into the 2nd half of the fight, let alone hear the final bell.

He's fast, he's slick, he has power, he has a good chin and high boxing IQ

I would pick him over fatty

But this is no ordinary middleweight

Nobody can stand up to that power, Brooks needs to keep him at distance and box, All GGG's previous opponents have allowed him to get in close and unload while they stand there covering up trying to block them he hits so hard the ones that land on gloves do damage and then when he goes to the body they go down.

Brook can't allow this to happen at all, he needs move Its a ridiculously tough ask but the smart fighters have a way to keep power punchers at bay and nullify them. I am not sure brook is one of them, Mayweather is too small but if he were bigger hes the type of guy that could do it.

nobody, not even the brits, thought turpin stood a chance vs robinson either.

brook is no middleweight yet, but he is really lucky that this match is taking place in england.

British boxing is very very very corrupt. GGG needs to knock this guy out EARLY or he could be in trouble.

SD to Brook or if he loads up and lands a clean shot that buckles GGG's knees for half a second the english ref will waive it off (ala froch v groves 1)

really rotten stuff that american fans are not accustomed to.

I agree with your assessment of what you need to do to beat GGG, the problem for Brook, though, he doesn't fight like that. Brook doesn't have quick feet or uses his feet ala Mayweather, Rigo or even Ward. He is relatively stationary in comparison to them and uses subtle upper body movement and the odd step back to avoid shots. This lack of movement will make it easy for Golovkin to get at him as GGG is great at cutting the ring off.

For Brook to stand any chance of winning he has to fight in a style that he has never fought in before.

Exactly what i'v said, everybody he fights ends up on the ropes with a high guard throwing nothing back and just allow him to pick his shots with ease. Brook cannot be caught on the ropes, whether its brook or not I think the guy to beat golovkin will be the guy who can take the centre of the ring away from him. If you allow him the centre of the ring he then just controls you with his feet and manouvres you to the ropes.

Just seen an interview with B-Hop some random dude asked him how he feels about GGG/Brook???

Obviously the reporter was trying to get Hops to say something about the fight to get some quote... Hops said to the effect that that fight is NOT about GGG but about what Brook is doing to attempt to become great.
