Is there a chance Ruslan Chagaev may fight Denis Boystov on November 19?

I'm probably clutching at straws here, plus I realise it's only two weeks away but is there any chance (in hell) that the November 19 fight headlined by Chagaev and Boystov is actually those two fighting all along, and they will spring an intense promotion on fans at short notice?

Boxrec still has each as TBA.

Even if they don't fight now, does it appear that if Chagaev doesn't get a crack at Haye's title then Chagaev v Boystov in Hamburg would be the next logical step?

I'd also be interested in seeing prospect Manuel Charr, but I don't think they'd chuck him in with a veteran like Chagaev or with Boystov as he is still young and they're buiding him up?

TBA is his actual name and he's fighting twice.

I suspected it was The Boxing Allstar, but I thought he was lined up against The Boxing Crusader.

Alas, my dreams of a Chagaev v Boystov fight have been swept away in three posts. Still hope for 2011

    Why would they fight ?

Chagaev is the WBA mandatory challenger and Boytsov will be mandatory as soon as the Klits beat Solis and/or Adamek.

Chagaev needs to get crackin' and get to fighting more often if he want to still be seen as active and legit.

Chagaev is one of the top four or five in the world, still, in my opinion.

I hope to see Boystov face a world level opponent before long and see what he's made of.

I dunno who Ruslan is fighting, or really care.

But what I do know is, Chagaev fighting more than once a year is surprising.

OMG. Does someone here actually think Boystov is gonna step it up against an elite fighter?

He's only 24, and most boxers peak late 20s, so who are you to make such a bold prediction about when (or if, as you put it) he steps up competition.

    You're a carrot.
