Is there a good reason not to bet 5k on Kessler vs Häussler?

    this is the safest bet in a long time. the odds are really low of course but here in europe it's 1,05, which means you get your money + 5%. that's not much but think of it more as having stocks that increase by 5% overnight. the only thing i can imagine that could worry kessler is an injury during the fight. but that's very unlikely, isn't it?

    I never bet at odds that low. There could always be a freak accident. The risk is low, but then again the reward is too low even for that risk. 1,05 is just not worth it IMO.

    There is always the 1% factor that ensures that nothing is guarenteed, much like Kojiro said. But Haussler does not have more than that.

    actually it would be 250 euros which is about 500 dollars the way the american economy has gone lately...

    he won't win. i have watched several of his fights. he is the archetype of the ugly, talentless but hard-working german. the only way he can win this is if kessler breaks his ancle or get's a really nasty cut, which is very unlikely also because häussler is feather-fisted.

    if i was more wealthy i would bet a high ammount on kessler, but 5000 euros is almost all of my savings. i couldn't afford to lose it.

    thew only way kessler does not win this fight is if haussler gets cut and they claim it is a headbutt and the fight is stoiped and declared a n/c BEFORE 4 ROUNDS.

    It's a fair old amount to put on very short odds. What if Kessler breaks his hand or something... probably still wins but you get my drift...
