thoughts? I feel that Kessler is significantly faster. I feel that Froch has maybe slightly better speed than Andrade. Your thoughts?

I dont think the differance in handspeed is that big, but the differance in TECHNIQUE, and skill is HUGE... which will be the differance. Whenever you have a crude brawler facing a sharp shooter.... 9 times outta 10 the sharp shooter is the safe bet.

Froch is going down... and it'll be fun to watch his groupies go down with him.

I'd actually say Froch could well be faster than the latest version of Kessler. He often looks slow because he has the technical skill of a bar-room brawler.

I don't think the speed difference is that big.
    Kessler sure shoots sharper.
    And his defence is tighter.
I think he will beat Froch.

    Exciting fight.

kessler technically is the better boxer, but sometimes when the brawler is relentless in his attacks, he then overwhelms the better boxer. great boxers have shown this suchas marciano, la motta and so on who were able to beat a better boxer by their relentless attacks. i think the fight will be very good with kessler getting some very good punches, but eventually i wouldn't be too surprised if froch turned out to be to much for him by having the better workrate and basically end up out fighting kessler.

Kessler got the handspeed slightly but Froch got a much much better stamina. Kessler fades in late too often. But I think Kessler will land on froch easy just like everyone else to pile enough points to win.

I hope so. I've been watching boxing for 20 years now, and I can honestly say that I have never disliked a fighter more than Froch. I just can't stand him. And it has nothing to do with nationality or the fighters he's beaten...The guy just rubs me the wrong way. I find him incredibly arrogant and that's something I jsut can't stomach in a mediocre talent like Froch. Now, of course, I don't like it in Mayweather either...but at least I understand it. Mayweather is a preternaturally gifted boxer. Froch has mediocre skills at best. He succedes because he is determined and honestly he's gotten a few lucky breaks. He should be humble. Instead he's a ****.

I think I heard that Kessler was working on his footword in preparations for this fight.
His footwork will always look bellow par against a guy like Ward though

I don't think it's that huge of a difference. In his prime Kessler had such good timing against his opponents(say what you want about that) particularly on his 1-2 that he looked faster than he was.

On the other hand against JC and Ward he had such bad timing it made him look slower than he was.

Exactly. Depends on who he's facing and I think Froch is a guy who'll make him appear fast.
