Is there a more devastating punch than the last shot Tua landed on Ruiz?

Kevin Barry was ripping him off and didn't want any resistance on the way to a title shot.

The fight that never happened that I wanted to see more than any other at this time was Tua-Tyson. Tua was not good against taller fighters but, wow, it would have been a war between those two. I actually think Tua would have KO'd Tyson. Tua had the better chin without question. Tua was one of my all-time favorites.

No, Universal. Kevin Barry and Tua broke up around the time that Tua turned 31.

Tua's KO's of Moorer and Rahman could have allowed him to really gun for the title again

But he never did. Ended his career mostly old and broke - and it seemed to be his own doing.

Well the most recent single lights out punch was the uppercut Povetkin landed on Whyte:

Correct me if im wrong but Tua fought Robert Daniels who was a cruiserweight and blew him away before taking on the might of Lennox Lewis. Now im no expert but really he sat on his ranking taking no risks for too long before having a crack at the champ. Perhaps its a smart move financially to minimise risk on the way to a huge payday but its not really good physical preparation.

I don;t know what happened to Tua mentally

After he left Barry, he seemed to lose heart and never did much of anything for years at a time

Tua's last left hook on Ruiz was like the last hook Ruddock landed on Dokes.

Both of them were already unconscious on their feet, on the ropes, and then took one more brutal hook on the way down.

Tua was one of the hardest punchers in HW history. He looked like he killed people when he landed clean.

    The irony is

I don't think Tua was even hitting his hardest when he took Moorer OUT

Yes, the Mercer one was better, he got to put more body weight behind the shot.

Not full leverage at all. Definitely a clean hard shot, but full leverage would have needed him to take a step back with his left foot, plant it and then put his body weight behind the punch.
In this video, his legs are parallel and too spread apart, that means there is no way to hit with all you've got.
