IF I were Cotto i would not take a rematch with Margo.. For what? So that Margo gets a gift for cheating and a big payday? For some guys who bring in the "Revenge" argument...
A real revenge would be to hit him with a baseballbat so that Margo gets some of his own medicine... Money issues are also no argument for a rematch...
There are plenty of Dollars in Cotto vs. Mosley 2

So overall i do not need the fight.. In my mind Margo as a fighter is gone..

People need to chill nothing has been discovered in Margarito's wraps before last night so everything before is only speculation.

There needs to be a rematch because the fight was close and they should fight for the right to a rematch with Mosley.

He should do it for the sake of resume and legacy...overtime people might forget the hand-wrap controversy and the only loss thus far will have never been avenged...

Cotto should just be guaranteed a certain amount and have a "WINNER TAKE ALL" agreement in the clause :hat

So that if he IS cheating...he won't get **** but a beating a sad ass ride back home to roost.

My point exactly...but I'm sure the next time around the hand-wrapping will be thoroughly checked...and it will be a legitimate fight.

And if it's a lobsided domination...then we know the absolute truth :yep

No way. Logical next fight sould be either Mosley-Cotto II for The Ring WW championship, or Mosley-Paul Williams, which sounds even better.

Mosley/Williams yes.. Mosley/Cotto no way. Cotto got TKO'd by Margarito and isn't fighting a top 5 WW in Jennings. Cotto did beat Shane but he got beat up by Margarito after that so let the two eliminate eachother.

I agree...thats the only reason i'd want to see a rematch. But I'd want to see Cotto-Mosley II first. Shane just won one of the belts and if all goes according to plan, come Feb. 21 Cotto will be the new WBO champ. Thats one mega fight.

No, last night was the first time it was exposed. To suggest he'd try this against Mosley but not Cotto is laughable. Nazim was simply too smart to let it slide.

Innocent until proven guilty..., but 'If' there is any truth in these accusations by Mosley's team then Cotto needs the chance to prove he can beat a 'normal' Margarito and exonerate the loss from his record

I said it's only speculation I didn't say Margarito would try it against Mosley and Cotto. It's only speculation and means little to nothing to me right now because it hasn't been investigated. I'm not gonna sit here and scream he's been doing it since I don't know when. The Cotto fight is over and done with.. Let's wait and see what comes up in the following weeks.
