The '16oz gloves in sparring = exposed' and 'Pacquiao is harnessing the power of black magic' threads are probably the most ******ed things I've read in my life. The frightening thing is that they was both created sincerly. That is the level of intellect that we're dealing with here.

As for the rehydration clause, I'm yet to see a credible source mention this. It's usually brought up from time to time without any evidence at all.

that is why i havn't bought into it, but honestly, if there is such a thing, we most likely would never know, unless someone got their hands on a contract

Which is highly unlikely. Whoever wrote an article stating that there's a rehydration contract is a ****ing moron.

What's Vivek's username in here? Can he defend that article he wrote? Show some evidence at least? This reminds me of what Ellerbe said about the negotiations. " There were no second negotiations that ever took place...!! "

If margarito weighs in on fight night anything under 160 pound. You can bet your bottom dollar there was a rehydration clause in his contract.

Against mosley at 147, margarito came in at 160 on fight night. so he was fighting at middleweight at welterweight.

So now he fighting at 151, if he comes under 160 you can bet there a clause.

This is like saying Pac is able to make weight because of steroids. Which is stupid.

If margarito comes in at 155+ and no more than 160, it's because he doesn't want to be too slow against pac. He's already too slow as it is.

Bull****, he came in at 160 against shane mosley who is much quicker than margo.

    This content is protected

If margo comes in under 160 against pac it because he been told to.

He doesn't have to worry about pac speed as pac has to gain the weight, so will naturally slow down, much harder to maintain speed going up in weight. So margo can weigh 160 quite comfortably and fight his fight.

Margo shud be looking at 165 come fight night, but he wont be able to because of a clause. Wait and see.

And if not? Yeah, nothing. You'd never to come back on here and say "I was wrong, there are no dehydration clauses. Credit to Pacquiao". No - you'll do what all the other twats do around here and move on to the next thing to discredit someone's accomplishments.

Funnily enough, you know you'd be the first person on here if it was true, sayin "I told you so, he's a fraud with his rehydration clauses blah blah blah"

And it's the same with Mayweather - "I guarantee he'll never fight Mosley, he's ducking him, he's too dangerous etc". Then he fights, and schools him and then it's "Mosley is old and shot, why is he picking on old men . . ."

You're all like a bunch of kids

I highly doubt they would allow it...if it is a danger to a boxer, they wouldn't allow it. A boxer goes through a training camp, makes weight..and then is only allowed to hydrate to a certain weight...then has to go through a possible 12 rounds? Nope.

This reminds me of the E-MAIL that was supposedly sent by Pac's camp to Mayweather's camp about non-disclosure of PEDS results if it turns out positive!!!!!

The *****s started to treat it like it is the gospel of a bible, an undeniable fact, when the information was a second hand to a second hand information. The purported original receiver of the e-mail can not even provide a simple copy of the e-mail, a very simple thing to do that even a 4 year old can do it.

as pointed out earlier in the thread, there are such things, as the IBF only allows a fighter to weigh 10 lbs over the max weight the day of the fight
