Regardless of what he does with his career I'll never buy the guys boxset, not my taste.

Well he's European, Ward is the American Executioner that has been beheading the Euros all tournament long.

Ward is a Disciplined boxing machine, fighting inside and out. Doesn't have KO power, doesn't have an exciting style, but he is VERY VERY GOOD. If you claim to love the sport, the art of boxing, you should appreciate Andre Ward. He is the real deal. Plus, he seems like a pretty straight-up dude: no drama, nonsense, bullsh*t. When he takes Froch and then Bute to school a few more ESB fools will wake up and smell the coffee. That said, Ward needs to fight OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA!

Great comments! Question to all. Could it be that being a good community guy, he's trying to give back to those who've supported him in the past? Fights generate community revenue and people get paid. Maybe he's doing his part to help revive boxing in the Bay area.

No one seems to complain about Spinks and Devin fighting in the "Lou". AND NOBODY, AND I MEAN NOBODY, ever complained about Gatti doing all his fights on "the Boardwalk". Hell even Floyd went into Jersey to fight Gatti. You go where the money is and promoters are in total control of that... Just some thoughts...:good:bbb

Ward is all blue collar, he gets the job done in whatever way he needs to. He has a fighters heart, he can box, he can get rough and dirty, and he will brawl, whatever. Yet hes not an exciting fighter to me. He just dosnt create that electricity, that are you ready to rumble feeling.:bbb:bbb

Strange; Many of the posters who crap on Wlad for being boring seem to be quite taken with Ward doing the same thing only far worse(boring).

Personally I cannot stand watching the dirty, crybaby fight, replete with pretentious nickname. However he is effective at what he does (is allowed to do) and if he dominates Froch, I will be forced to reevalutate my stance on him.

Ward will beat Froch. The scorecards are already filled out, it is simply a matter of how deserving he will be of his points victory.

No, but some people enjoy craft. I'm not a big Bradley guy, I respect him and as a person I hope the best for him because he's earned it, but I'm not necessarily a fan.

I'm torn on Ward. I live about 20 miles from Oakland, so, I love the fact that he wants to fight at home and we get high profile fights here. So, I go to all his fights, but, I hate his fighting style.

And honestly, I have the same problem with Guerrero.

At least we have Donaire. Although, he is the opposite case. I like his fighting style, but, I hate his decision making. I don't believe he takes responsibility for his career and I blame the Darchinyan rematch not happening on him. While he didn't duck a Darchinyan rematch, he told me that Darchinyan signed the contracts and it was Top Rank that wouldn't finalize the deal. And now with this stupid defection to Golden Boy holding up his career, I question his decision making.
