Is there a way for Edwin Valero to get back to the US?

Edwin Valero failed an MRI test after a motorcycle accident where he wasn't wearing a helmet a few years back. Since then, he can't box in the US. Most of you already know that.

Now, we've heard that someone before did fail an MRI, was suspended from fighting in the US and came back a few years later. In Edwin's case, is this feasable?

I mean, yes he has a poor defensive and his punches need polishing but all in all, he could be a good fighter with a lot of power. I personaly think that he's suspension from the US has hindered his progress since he's been fighting only level B oponents. He could be better then what he is right now.

Plus, why is a fight outside the US for better oponents out of the question? Is it because these fights would also be ruled by the US comission or is it strictly because of money? Because we have seen great bouts from fighters outside of the US. Calzaghe, Tyson, Ali all did it to name a few.

Holyfield because he's a money maker with a huge name. Also because he was suspended just becuase he looked bad in a few fights. I beleive this was an unorthadox ban as commisions usually dont ban someone who just hasnt looked good.

Bowe....despite his appearance, I don't think he has ever officially failed any tests.

And Mesi knew of a loophole in the system where he can reapply after his lisence expires- the problem with that is that you have to not fight anywhere (including outside of the states) and have to wait for your lisence to expire which was a good 2 years of inactivity. Valero could have done this but didnt want to sit out for 2004 and 2005.

Seems a tad unfair, also if one of those guys died in or after a bout, would be a nightmare for boxing, considering so many have said all three should be stopped from fighting on.
