to be honest thats why im so excited about Canelo. He has the composure of a much older experienced fighter. His skills of course are great but in the skills department there is plenty of fighters who have shown skills earlier in their career but they are usually missing something else.
Canelo has good skills along with composure character and charisma. Not to mention in a weight range that will blow up in the next 1-2 years which is when he will become a star.

People point at his chin and blah blah blah just because he was stunned but i guess those are guys like Rico who think its out of the question that a fighter get stunned in boxing. They need to go watch some chess then.

 

That guy sucked as honestly, but regardless PBF was a beast who bought the fight to you back in the day. I honestly don't think anyone at 130 or 135 lbs if ****ing with PBF....and I mean all time.

I'm not entirely sure that Gary Russell wouldn't have disposed of that same Jerry Cooper in identical fashion and just as quickly (or faster) in his third pro fight.

 

It will be a long time before we see another fighter with the raw talent of PBF again.
