We have no world class fighters at this stage, just a few with potential to be great. Will keep you posted if any come up!

 

Vic Darchinyan is without a doubt Australia's best boxer & probably the only world class one at this stage.
Anthony Mundine is a little bit behind Vic & then you have some of our young talents like Michael Katsidis.

 

i think katsidis will over take choc soon because he will prob face better opponents

 

Katsidis is absolutely fantastic to watch, and I really think hes got the potential to be great.

 

Okay wanka. Sam Soliman, Danny Green, Vic Darchinyian, Anthony Mundine, Paul Briggs, Michael Katsidis, Gary St Clair, Lovemore NDou. Not bad for a country with NO boxing talent.

Sonni & Frank Faa'solo are my 2 favourite characters in Aussie boxing.:yep

 

I remember one of the times I watched him fight, they annouced the decision, he lost, and he stayed in the ring for like 10 minutes smiling and carrying on. I don't think he even likes boxing that much, its just an excuse to get in front of a crowd and get loose.

Vic has achieved more, and is undefeated thus deserving of the number one spot. Mudnine may in your opinion be more talented, but based on achievement Vic is hands down number 1.

If he isn't, then he should seriously consider spending his spare time playing trivial pursuit with an ostrich.
