Without a doubt, earl showed big heart getting up from them. I think it was just Earl was in great shape and could soak up a bit of punishment, thats the only reason he made it out of the first round. A guy called Eleazar Contreras Jr put him on his arse a few years back. Contreas Jr turned out to be an alright fringe contender but he was by no means a puncher. He caught with a nice counter punch and thats the only time Ive seen Diaz in any serious trouble. Angulo & Suico bothered him a bit with their power. Angulo especially seemed to give some tough moments but they were only fleeting moments, Diaz just works to hard. Freitis to a degree gave him a hard time but Freitis can do that with anyone when he fight hyper like that, eventually he always tires though.
Not the biggest fan of American Dad. But I really like Family Guy. The humour in the simpsons and south park is really prdictable. Family Guy is just completely random and goes on bigt side tracks in the middle of the episode which I find funny. Basically SOuth Park and all the rest of them have limitations, where as family guy removes them by not adhereing to any sort of script most times, which is what makes it so good.
Good post, except you guys have to remember that Diaz was a VERY young world champion and has improved considerably since his early days. He used to never throw in combinations as well, and his boxing ability was limited. Now, he has refined his defence, which is better then people give credit for. He uses a lot of good head and upper body movement in close and always keeps a tight guard. He has worked on making his jab a key weapon, and more and more in recent fights is showing the ability to be quicker on his feet and even occasionally counter punch when needed like he did against the older Cotto. His combination punching is his biggest improvement though. He throws in 3 and 4 punch combos often, and uses it to overwhelm his opponents. Every punch is thrown hard, and he keeps great balance. I really rate him as a fighter, and did so before everyone jumped on the bandwagon if anyone remembers. He will be too much for Katsidis. Kat too often loads up one punch at a time. His defence is leaky too because he doesn't move his head in close he just wants to bore in and throw his offence. Against a guy like Diaz with a solid jab this will spell trouble. If a guy like Earl was matching it with him at times in close imagine what Diaz would do?
I find FG's humour fairly predictable. In a way, it's more like the newer Simpsons (which I'm not too fond of) in the essence that it relies solely on random senseless humour, as opposed to some kind of plot. I don't know how you can not like American Dad, but like Family Guy. It's the same goddamn show, except with American Dad they've replaced the talking dog with a talking alien. :roll: Oh well, to each his own.

Frietas has wins over Casamayor, Raheem and Barrios, and was thoroughly outboxing Corrales for the first half of their fight. No one has ever beaten him the way Juan Diaz did. Juan Diaz is my number 2 fighter in boxing now (not p4p just because I enjoy watching him fight) behind Miguel Cotto.
I don't like the newer Simpsons either though, which I suppose isn't really consistent. I think the characters are just really old to me, and they need to do something new. American Dad is different, I haven' t seen enough to point out exactly how, but from what I saw it was pretty stale.
Bro Town is quite funny but most Aussies would miss alot of the jokes cause you have to be brought up over there.
The Simpsons on Tuesday was HILARIOUS! The first time i've laughed at a new episode in years. They've got alot of the old writers back now, just in time for the movie and it WILL be back... Homer walks in on Selma and Grandpa kissing - "AHH! There's a bear eating my dad!" "It's me, Selma!" "AHH! There's a talking bear eating my dad!!" Hehe, was great. Family Guy has blatantly taken the Simpsons and copied it, with the crassness of South Park. They know it and don't care, the Simpsons guys don't care either. Infact, in the episode where Homer clones himself, you'll see one of the clones is Peter Griffin. South Park is the only one that's gotten better with age though. The others slightly declined (the Simpsons more so, but it will be back). People shouldn't compare the 3... it's like comparing Heroes to Lost. They're sci-fi dramas with good budget and a slowly revealing on-going story line, but that's all they have in common.
i know i personally laugh more out loud to 1. Family Guy has me in tears just about all the time i watch it. 2. Simpsons i chuckle here and there and even break out in laughter. 3. South Park only find it funny on very rare ocassions. thats the way i feel like the whole Kenny thing was stupid and Cartman is funny but only here and there. Simpsons is fun for only one character and that Homer i laugh at him mostly and thats it and everyone else in the show isnt that funny. Now when it comes to Family Guy i laugh at just about every character they have like Quagmire is great and Stewie aswell as Peter all very funny. They have more characters that you can laugh at and are far more versed i think when it comes to mixing in shows and different movies. If you dont find Family Guy funny but think South Park is funnier well its just a case of different sense of humours between the two.
