Is there any formal reprimanding of boxing judges?

    Clearly the judges of Williams - Lara who scored it for Williams should be reprimanded and never allowed to judge again. I am jusrt wondering if there is any mechanism in place by state athletic commissions to place the judges under investigation or prohibition or fired permanently? Or do they just go unpunished for their incompetence?

    I don't know of anything, but something needs to be put in place.

    I think they should at the very least give short explanations each round as they write in their scores.
