You can always re-live Morales's win over Pacquiao in the first fight, and Marquez's debatable decisions against Pacquiao.

DLH can pull a Gatti-Gamache on Pacquiao, but those performances by Mexicans against Manny always be more impressive.

I never thought this fight would actually happen, it is somewhat embarrassing on Oscars behalf, when was the last time a middleweight challanged a featherweight?

:-( You can be pissed at a fave... but jumping ship always looks bad. Espeicially because of one fight.

I was at first, Dude-but now I'm just ****in' over it. I had to take a second and third look at it to accept it for what it is. Yu see, much like music over the years, this has become way too much of a business. Once you start factoring big business into most any form of entertainment, it's not long at all before the whole thing goes to ****. **** it. Hell, maybe we'll even get to see some tigers jumpin through fire rings, who the **** knows? The glory days are long gone, my friend. Let us accept it. The good news is, it's almost guaranteed to be a good scrap. As well, It's an Oscar fight so The Grand will be crawlin' with happenin' ***** that night.

I'm a fan of Oscar and I was hoping that he would man up and say, "I'm going to fight Antonio Margarito."

I remember when there was talk about this fight a year ago. Guys at the gym thought I was nuts

That's pretty extreme, Brother. Devote some thought to that one. I was salty about the **** at first myself, but I've a feeling we're all gonna be a lil' surprised at this one.

Oscar doesn't even give a crap about the ship. He's the one that jumped off. As we spoke about before on another thread, is this really one fight or a whole bunch of decisions Oscar is taking that are pissing people off? Of course, I still love the greater legacy he left us with and will rewatch those fights. But Oscar is probably not gonna retire after this fight and I really doubt he will give us anything meaningful in times to come. I don't think he is washed up but his heart is not there and he's gonna pull some other **** next year when he fights Hatton. :deal

I thought so as well. The thing is he can beat Marg but he will have to leave his desk at some point and actually train which is what bothers me the most about Oscar nowadays, all business.

This is a great fight for boxing. Finally a boxing hyped to an extreme making promises of war and excitement and actually delivers it. Unifying a title here or there wont do anything for boxing, this will put boxing back on mainstream media and prove to the world, boxing is still the no.1 most exciting sport in the world.

I'm a fan of both DLH and PAC....although I don't think this was the best choice for DLH to go out, I'm not mad at it and I think it will be more entertaining and possibly even than most expect. If it is all you DLH haters can be happy knowing your guy either lost or was almost upset by a far smaller fighter...If he wins they you all can go on bashing him for being a chicken for taking on PAC for his last fight.....either way all you DLH haters can go on doin what you all love to do....that's Hate. So be happy!:good
