Oscar Vs. Pac is awful. Nobody should be stupid enough to watch such a fake fight.

    :patsch

Pac never wanted a rematch? yet he did fight JMM, right? are you insinuating that he was afraid to fight JMM?

You have to realize that pac is a prize fighter and will fight anyone if the prize is right, his fight with oscar proves this. During the negotiations he knew in terms of status that he has the upperhand so why not milk JMM and get as much share of the purse as possbile? and thats basically what happened... :deal

JMM took the 25% share because he knew that despite of that percentage it was still his highest payday and only pac can give it to him. In other words Pac made him his *****! :yep

Funny how you say this stuff when it was JMM who dump 750K for an immediate rematch but then opted to go to an indonesian parking lot to fight for peanuts. :deal:yep

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Where's that nuthugger Widow Faker? I'm sure he'll defend DLH's retirement fight with Pacman.

Honestly, like everyone else the fight I wanted to see was Oscar vs Margo, because that fact that Oscar would be willing to take on Margo would have said a lot about Oscars charecter... even at the last minute I was hoping Oscar was going to announce something along those lines, or at least a fight against Williams.

Apart from that, no, I'm not embarassed. I think all the controversay will ease, and the fight will be built up in the media until most of us forget that there are any major size issues, come fight night and they step in the ring looking fairly similar, then it will be an enjoyable and even fight, thats what I hope anyway.

You can pretend it did'nt happen if you wish, but the fact that Pac was feeling the effects of his own fans from Pacland criticizing him, put him in a corner.....and after JMM lowered his demands and took a challengers cut, how embarrasing would that have been for Pac to say no????

Get out of here Enzo and dont embarrass yourself trying to justify it with a response!

Sorry but i don't go to pacland that much... :yep

Your argument why pac took the marquez fight is just ridiculous... PAC took the fight because he got the share that he wants by milking poor JMM who's desperate for his biggest meal ticket. He made him his *****... :yep

The PACLAND angle is funny as hell though... i got to give you that.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

    I go to PACLAND, divac.

I dont know what kind of immense pressure from local fans you're talking about.

If anything, that site is a cheerleading site.

If somebody says anything negative about Pac, they usually get ganged up on.

I'd say there's less than 10% of posters there who regularly have negative opinions about Pacquiao.

    Theyre the minority.

In PACLAND, I never felt that his fanbase was pressuring him, even indirectly, to fight JMM, or anybody else.

    They just suggest stuff.

Maybe when you go there, to just look at the frontpage. There's a thread title list there.

Some might be titled "PAC NEEDS TO FIGHT JMM OR HE'S CHICKEN!"
But if you read the whole thread, it's 99% pro Pacquiao and theyre bashing the threadstarter.

You can laugh and point to it being my angle, but the facts are that boxing scribes all over the internet were writing and referencing Pacland when it looked like Pac was going to fight David Diaz first instead!

    These are just facts!

The thing is i don't even think people signed up there to talk about boxing... :deal

Those pinoys are just playing and having fun... same reason why you'll find the most ******ed threads bout pac there.

    Yeah.

It's transformed from a serious PACMAN fan boxing site back in 2004,

into a internet tambayan/lounge with a lot of cheap talk about Pac and a bit of boxing flavor in 2008.

Your assumption/opinion/view doesn't make it a fact. Go on... you're just making a fool of yourself by pushing that argument. This is probably one of the most pathetic thing you've posted here.

I dont go to Pacland for obvious reasons, (there just is'nt a knowleadgeable fanbase there.)

I sneaked a peak back then because Boxingconfidential referenced it when it appeared that Pac was ready to announce that he'd fight Diaz instead.
When I looked around Pacland, it was much like this board, with most fans agreeing that a 60/40 split or there abouts was fair........then when JMM came public and announced he'd take much less, and that Pac could chose the weight class he wanted (because one of Pac's excuses back then was that he could'nt make 130 lbs) I believe that Paclanders in that forum were embarrassed that it looked like Pac woud'nt take JMM up on that offer.

Boxingconfidential reported this, and a few days later, JMM-Pac 2 was announced official!

These are facts I'm pointing out my friend.......lo and behold, after all the bull**** excuses about not being able to make 130 lbs, Pac's choice is to fight JMM at 130 lbs!

This is'nt some kind of fabrication on my part, its common knowleadge to anyone that paid attention back then.
.....though I'm sure *******s chose to ignore or forget altogether what really occured that led to the fight taking place.

.....and when I say *******, I'm referring to Enzo, as I know you're sensitive about ******* being thrown out loosely bulakenyo!

I seriously do not believe that PACLAND has that much influence over Manny's career decisions.

We had a lot of good boxing fans/posters back in the early days. But we've all now left and became members of a more international, more well rounded boxing site. BS. Max, DH, Eastside, Saddo, etc.

We still visit there, but do not post so much anymore.

There are still very good posters there, but most are just goofy 13 year old kids with an extra 20 pesos in his pocket. Good enough for 2 hours at an internet cafe and talk stuff about Pacman.

He's not even a serious fan. He probably wont know the weight difference between a flyweight and a featherweight. Just someone killing some time.

Dont take what they post there too seriously.

I dont think Manny ever posted there once. He's never even officially recognized that site and said "hi" once.
