Bulakenyo, Pacland was an obvious site that Boxingconfidential mentioned, but it was by no means the only site.......
.....this site and most boxing forums wanted the JMM-Pac rematch made......and that my friend really burdened Pac, Arum, and the whole camp.......

The rematch came about because the fans insisted on it.
Just about every Pac fan to a man on this board had agreed weeks before the fight had been made, that Pac would be running away from a challenge in JMM is he turned down the better end of a 60/40 split......I know you remember that bulakenyo.......
.....and what happened is that Pac did just that, he was'nt content with a 60 percent split in his favor......JMM coming down to 25% (it may have even been less than that) and the fans insistence on the fight taking place, is what left Arum and Pac with no other choice, or they would have undoubtedly been crucified by every boxing site and boxing scribe there is.

Majority of pacland also criticized pac's plans to fight oscar, in fact there was an "uproar" for pac not to fight DLH.

    but the **** still happens!

Majority of Pacland also said that He won clearly in his rematch with JMM...

Most of you here don't agree...

It's ironic how pac critics here makes pacland as bases for their argument... where in fact they call the people there *******s. :deal

So, the PACLAND reference was merely for dramatic purposes? Poetic license?

If Arum and team Pacquiao were ever pressured into the rematch, it was because of the whole boxing community's pressure? Not PACLAND?

Theyre "p4p best" fighters, Pac and JMM. they would surely have fought at least one rematch before their careers have ended. Pressure or no pressure.

The match up is just too good to pass up.

And the 3rd fight is inevitable. I'm sure of that.

about the issue of pac fighting jmm in the rematch, yes i think there was some kind of a pressure for pac to fight marquez instead of diaz. imo, it was from many quarters. wbc president jose sulaiman (with his own agenda), some local boxing writers, and his fans certainly put some pressure because during that time, pac doesn't want to fight for belts because of sanctioning fees. fans are clamoring for pac's legacy back then to capture the 130 wbc belt. by marquez lowering his demand, it made sure that pac would be contented with the deal and sealed the fight.

It just means that some people will do anything to support their argument. Even going as far as to refer to a site who is regarded as a joke site by ESB'ers here. INCLUDING the JMM nuthugger your currently talking to enzo.
