Is there any proof of a mayweather injury for Castillo 1 bout?

    Before JMM 3...
Pacquiao: I will not underestimate JMM.
Roach: This is the best training camp Pacquiao's ever had.
Ariza: I've never seen Manny so focused. Not even god could help Marquez.

    After JMM 3...
Pacquiao: I had cramps again. Also, I underestimated my opponent.
    Roach: Pacquiao overtrained.
Ariza: Pacquiao didn't follow the training regimens.

Well, I have access to the official court documents (being a law school student, i have free access to WestLaw). . . Here is the following quote from the motion regarding when the court recognizes the allegations began:

"(“[O]n or around October 29, 2009, Mayweather, Jr. gave an interview on Sirius Satellite Radio. During the nationally-broadcast interview, the host asked Mayweather, Jr. to explain how his physical development differed from that of Pacquiao. When Mayweather, Jr. responded, “cause we know the Phillippines got the best enhancing drugs,” the host observed, “o he's saying Pacquiao's taking enhancement drugs.”); Doc. # 13, ¶ 34 (“This is a simple question. If you have nothing to hide, then why not comply [with even more blood tests]?”); Doc. # 13, ¶ 35 (Mayweather, Jr. issued a statement that he had “great doubt as to the level of fairness [he] would be facing in the ring that night.”)"

I think that's about as reliable of a source as you can get.

Not saying I don't believe you, but you can find a source where Mayweather offered to pay for the drug-testing?

Damn, really didn't wanna start up this debate, because it's so played out, but somehow it always ends up going there. . .

Also, I remember Pascal saying something to Hopkins about taking tests, and Hopkins just made a smart ass response, and then shoved Pascal or something, and immediately changed the subject. . . Even though they already signed to fight, Hopkins didn't seem to willing to want to subject himself to blood tests. . .

Yet for some reason, nobody seemed to be accusing Hopkins of anything in the "hardcore boxing fan world."

Thus further showing how Pacquiao gets extremely unfair treatment. . Just like FLoyd does.

Really? Maybe an isolated thread here, or there, but nowhere NEAR the amount of accusatory, derogatory comments Pac got. . .

Pac gets just the same amount of hatread, and unfair treatment as FLoyd. He's just not a whiny little bytcha bout it, and doens't snap on 80 year old men for making a negative comment here, or there.

I've watched the fight like a dozen times. I remember the HBO Team saying Floyd wasn't happy with Arum and he wanted a big sign on the building of himself etc.. He was such a primadonna, even back then! :rofl

I just watched it and scored it as:

    1. Mayweather 10-9
    2. Mayweather 10-9
    3. Mayweather 10-9
    4. Mayweather 10-9
    5. Castillo 10-9
    6. Castillo 10-9
    7. Castillo 10-9 (Castillo's most dominant round so far.)
    8. Mayweather 10-8 (Castillo is deducted a point for hitting on the break.)
    9. Castillo 10-9
    10. Even 9-9 (Mayweather deducted a point for the elbow.)
    11. Castillo 10-9
    12. Castillo 10-9

    So...113 - 113.

At least 3 rounds were close to the point where I could see them being scored differently, so I'm not surprised that some people have Castillo winning.

It's the kind of fight that can go either way, depending on what you prefer. If you like jabs, then you'll be more temped to score certain rounds for Mayweather, as the jab to the body was his key weapon in the fight. If you don't place much significance on jabs, then you're probably going to prefer Castillo's more solid shots up close. Castillo definitely did the more damaging work downstairs, hitting Mayweather with good body shots. Mayweather jabbed to the body but threw most other shots to the head, and didn't land as cleanly and consistently as he normally does. Castillo was cutting off the ring well and his defence was surprisingly good, which made it hard for Floyd to just potshot him from range. Close fight.

just an excsuse floyd fanboys use. Floyd was punching hard with both arms all the way up to the 12th round. Castillo was just taxing his ass.

^ so what, did he have problem using his left arm during the fight? Would it have made any difference on the outcome?

No, he would have won either way. But he would have won more clearly.

You're just a blind hater if you think being 1 armed didn't impact the fight.
