I bet Ibragimov and his trainer are really racking their brains, just trying to come up with a workable plan for this fight.

As has been said, Ibragimov is in a very hard position, given Wladimir's size/reach, power, and speed. I think the only thing he can do is run, almost constantly, and later in the fight, hope to GOD that Wlad starts to slow a bit, so he (Ibrag) can start quickly lunging in, landing a few to the body, and quickly slipping way back outside to where he's safe. Then repeat.

That's all I think he can do. Cuase if he tries that when Wlad has even a moderate amount of energy, he'll take Ibrag's little head off as he's coming in, and Ibrag will be cold before he hits the mat.

you have to give Iggy credit for having the balls to fight Wlad, most people in his position would not risk there belt. And as for beating him...well with his fast hands and good footwork...a stick and move stategy would be his only bet.

Noway a stick and move would be a good strategy, Ibragimov will need to attack from the first bell, if he sticks and moves Klitchko is gonna jab em and shot his right hand....Ibrag should get on the inside fast and throw body shots then back up and throw the left hand, IMO

Stick and move means get in do a quick combo and get out, out of the range of his jab and right hand. And if you havn't noticed it's not easy to get inside on Wlad he clinches if he doesn't like his position. sticking and moving is Iggy's only option because standing in front of him like Brock doesn't work.

Nobody gave Ross Purrity a hope in hell, but he pulled off the upset. For the win all Ibragimov has to do is emulate Purrity. Klitschko will take care of the rest through his patented process of self-destruction.

If Wlad is "ON" his game which he has been for the last 5 fight.....I just dont see how he loses to Iggy

This is HW...anything can happen...but I would be shocked if Iggy can get to Wlad enough to pull out a win

He can win in two ways, but both are very unlikely.

    1) He hits Wladimir with something big early that has him on unsteady legs. He knocks him down, Wladimir gets back up, and Sultan repeats the process.

    2) He moves a helluva lot and away from Wladimir's right hand for that matter. He stays far away and quickly gets inside to throw a quick combination and uses his footspeed to get out of range again. To get out of range, Sultan would have to be very far out and would essentially have to run. He would also have to be very careful about the left hook and he would need to be able to take Wladimir's jab away.

He just has to put in the Corrie Sanders video tape, and watch it over, and over, and over, and over....

Make Wald look like Bambi on ice again.....

However, I think his chances of doing so are slim.

not because Sanders is the ultra fast, cannon punching demon some Wlad fans make him out to have been, but because Wlad is just better prepared now than he used to be.
