This statement is just straight up wrong. Jones is one of the most effective wrestlers in the sport.

Yeah, hopefully Damian Maia will get to work on his weak ass BJJ soon too.

I think a motivated mousasi could do it, since he has a lot more experience

Holy Crap, i am so high on JJ as well but hang the hell on with the talk about his HW domination. So many speak of it as if JJ will have NO PROBLEM whatsoever walking through all of the top heavy weights ? I dont buy that whatsoever. His reach is awesome, not so awesome at HW. His strength is awesome. Not so awesome at HW. He can ragdoll so many great LW's, i dont see that same domination at HW. Nobody at LW has been able to put him on his back and control him, i dont see this holding true at HW. Do i see JJ getting killed at HW ??? No way, i see him taking most HWs out with tactical smart performances along with a few dominating performances NO DOUBT.

However, i see JJ running into TROUBLE at HW when he gets to the cream of the crop. Ok maybe CAIN will not go down as one of the BEST HW's ever, who knows, regardless, in this THREAD at least it seems as if MOST are assuming JJ would ruin a guy like Cain in a few years simply by GROWING into his BODY. Well 25 is young, but its not like he is going to grow taller or get more range ? Lets say he pumps up and comes into the HW division in the 220-240 range in the next few years ? Does his EXTRA weight translate into extra strength perfectly ? No, he becomes stronger but unless he is gonna use roids etc its not as if he will become the strongest HW going? At LW, regardless to what anyone says he has been a ****ING MONSTER grappler. Yes fine, not in the BJJ sense but as far as CONTROL on the ground. Thats whereby NOBODY has been able to PUSH him around YET correct ? Well i dont see this same advantage at HW for JJ even if he transitions well into HW. He will be ONE of the top DUDEs but i do not see him being the TOP DUDE or at least dont see him DOMINATING as the TOP DUDE. That said thats a huge compliment for JJ. All i am saying is i see a few HW's beating him the hell up after hammering him either by ground or standing. I see him and a HW on the fence tied up struggling with each other and JJ getting tired faster from battling to control the LARGER dudes.

As far as A. Silva, i see JJ kicking the shyte out of him. Yes anything is possible no doubt. Were guessing here. My guess is JJ would be a BAD MATCH for A. Silva and i think Silva is awesome. Its the same for GSP against Silva for me. I see a BAD MATCH for GSP. I think Silva could take out many or most LWs but not even all LWs. I see him having HUGE problems with JJ and simply do not understand the dudes that think A. Silva is the only guy that can BEAT JJ.
