Is there anyone here who wants Khan to lose but Froch to win?

Ok, I'll bite to an extent as I'm sure you have been waiting for someone to. Prior to the Prescott bout I would have said yes to the question in the thread title without hesitation. Now I am a little more hesitant as I feel sorry to a small extent for Amir. His family have gotten way to involved in his career.

The hype train was out of control by passing the local stations and thinking way too far infront to unreachable destinations.

I am not fussed either way tonight but if ***an sparks Khan then props to him. There is a huge difference between Froch and Khan. The latter was talking about taking on and beating the likes of Pacquiao when the reality was, he was being shaken by the likes Wullie Limond who with all due respect, has never had the reputation of being a heavy handed puncher. Amir was not being avoided and Thaxton, etc were desperate to expose the arrogant brash lad.

Where as Carl in my opinion genuinly has the talent to back up the talk and has been unfortunate not to have shown it yet due to others avoiding him. Obviously by twelve tonight we will know how accurate this is but the reality is, Froch has proven a lot more than Khan and has more right to open his mouth and call people out.

Carls had 80+ amateur fights and 23 pro fights and has never touched down once. Not even in sparring.

    Hmmmm............

Most of those have been on the back of Calzaghe though to be fair, much like Witter with Hatton - though not as bad.

I still think Mick needs to sharpen up his marketing - Froch is marketable but needs to turn off the trashtalking and make people warm to him, rather than dismiss him as a joker.

Is that the right word - I felt he was gone!

In terms of Limond he was gone. I would certainly agree.

Had meant to add in other examples as he has looked badly shaken previously against the likes of Gomez.

Yeah Gomez shook him up - he looked really uncomfortable on the inside.

A couple of earlier opponents gave him a tough time, Komjathy (check spelling) took him the full six and tested him.
