If Povetkin starts fighting again, does well and looks impressive in beating someone good...., and he wants a title fight, Povetkin would be a big fight for Wlad.

And in a year or so, Helenious, assuming he wins again against someone of note.

Solis, as well, if he were to fight and beat someone decent in dramatic fashion. He KO Vitali put on him was decisive, but he did not get dispatched in a way to entirely dismiss him. Let him beat someone like the journeyman Arreola in a dramatic way, and Solis would be seen as a decent threat, again.

But for now, a second chance to knock out Haye is the only big fight for Wlad.

These are exactly my thoughts too.

The Heavyweight division is basically non-existent to me now. Apart from Vitali-Adamek nothing out there interests me for the foreseeable future.

Both Klitschkos have beat everyone or the top guys they have tried to fight turn them down..

Adamek is about it..Vitali will handle that.

    Povetkin if he wants it..

    nobody else left really...

Why didnt lewis fight them both then? They were both top contenders while Lewis was active, Lewis did fight Vitali but refused to fight a rematch which would have been just as lucurative for him as his fight with Tyson was, kinda fishy

I think Lewis knew he was getting old and didn´t want to risk losing a rematch against Vitali. I would have wanted to see Wlad vs Lewis way back and maybe it would have happened if Wlad hadn´t lost to Corrie Sanders.

    Haha, that's amusing.

He beat stopped Vitali pretty easily, at 39!?

Wlad and Vitali have only dominated in the last 5 years. They had plenty of close fights, when the division was better

The guys about now, wouldn't even be in the division top 10, in 2003-2004

The fact that Wlad fans have to make things up, to defend his career tells you absolutely everything about the guys career.

Haye was a 210 pound cruiserweight, who had near misses there, who had won 4 fights at the division.

And Wlad destroyed him!? He barely threw a shot in the fight that wasn't a jab.

He landed 20 shots, TOTAL in the fight that weren't jabs. And only 130 total. Only 90 were scored!?

Marquez basically matched that against Mayweather

You know, he used his size and jab, to avoid getting hit, and won a points decision. That's it

    Come on. Seriously.

Haye would beat all of those guys easily, himself.

Wlad wanted nothing to do with anyone back then.

He was green, struggling, and wouldn't have lasted 2 rounds with even the 39 year old Lewis.

Vitali took the fight, but got stopped.

Haye was 39, and on the way out, when he took the first fight.

Why's the guy going to be boxing into his 40s, just to give Vitali another shot?

Truth is, Vitali had his shot to make a name, against an old, crusty legend, and couldn't do it.

You know, watch that fight, and tell me the guy would have even lasted another round anyway. He was taking a beating in the last round.

He was lucky the doctor pulled him out. Gave him something to cling on to
