Sorry for adding to the pile of threads talking about all time p4p lists. I was just wondering if there was anyone who you consider top 20 p4p that does not have a good past prime win. If not, then who is the greatest boxer without a good past prime win? How important do you think longevity is when it comes to greatness?

Does Ezzard Charles have a significant post prime win?

You could definitely say he was past his prime when he beat Jersey Joe Walcott in 1951.

I also had Charles winning 6 rounds to 4 against hall of Famer Harold Johnson in 1953

Eric Harding was quite a good win. Jones was past his best for sure.

Depends how highly you rate Salvador Sanchez or Julio Cesar Chavez. One or the other is probably Mexico's greatest ever fighter which should be enough to make you top 20 overall.

For different reasons neither has a notable win after passing their peak.

What is the argument for Sal Sanchez as the greatest Mexican ever?

Depends, if Gene Tunney scrapes your top 20 then he seems to be a fair candidate for not having a notable post prime victory.
