He sure took care of Campillo who beat the crap out of Cloud! We will see tomorrow night, but I think Kovalev will win by knockout!!!

Good fight tomorrow. Should be an exciting dust-up. White's slated for the George loss, but I think mainly he was caught cold, and he's come back hungry.

I got Kovalev, 'cos I really do think he's something special, but I'm expecting White to make him work for it, could easily rock him a few times. Hopefully we get a better chance to look at Kovs defense and stamina.

Supposedly, the winner gets a mandatory at Bhop, which could put either right at the top of the division. So none of this 'Froch'll be retired by then' 'cos after tomorrow Kovalev or White'll probably be #4 or 5 in the division (though why a 168 Froch has been mentioned I just don't know). Bute, Stevenson, Pascal and Obvs Bhop are the guys in the equation, and I'd give Kovalev decent chances against any of them if he shows well against White.

My only questions with Kovalev are his stamina and chin. Not because I've reason to doubt them, just never seen them tested. Hopefully tomorrow will give a decent idea of how he is when the going gets tough.

You could argue that Kovalev's win over Campillio already put him as 4 or 5 in the division. Particularly if you rate the bad decisions against Cloud and Shemenov for Campillo

Kovalev seems to be the real deal to me. Seems to have put the past behind him and looks ready to really light it up.

I do think he can be outboxed though.

Abraham and Kovalev are not particularly similar. For one thing, Kovalev is more fluid, atheltic, and patient than Arthur. Additionally he's more technically sound.

Indeed. Although I do feel that Campillo wasn't his best vs Kov. And I hadn't even included Beibut and Cloud with the relevant contenders.

LHW is smoking at the moment! A lotta good fights to make, a lotta guys of similar level but different styles.

I expect White to be on his game tomorrow, so if Kovalev dominates, it will be making a statement in my book. Not as big as destroying Campillo, but a statement nonetheless.

I think Kovalev is legit world class, we'll see if it turns out that way. Regardless of the outcome, I'm really looking forward to this one. Chalk me up for Kovalev TKO 7.

White has a better chance than some have made out IMO. I've thrown some v-cash on Corny...really excited to see this one tonight.

Kovalev was not even the top Russian amateur when he fought at 81 and 91 kg's. The cadre of Russophobes on here would really be pissed if every top Russian amateur got a chance to train over here and fight pro.

My vcash(the first vbet I've made) with Kov. I get where you're comin' from. Cornelius has great skills, an' I'm figuring on him to give more than most are expecting. But kovalev is summit special. Whites got decent skill and he's hungry, but I think he's got little gunshy. And he ain't beating Kov. unless he remembers howta throw.

I've been high on this fight since it was announced. Not least, the winner supposed to be BHops mandatory. LHWs fukin so tight at the moment ,specially after Dawson - Stevenson. 175s the division to watch.

Kovalev did his part, looki8ng strong once again. In the RBR thread a contract for Kovalev vs Cleverly has already been offered and HBO is interested. Reported by Steve KIm.

Doubtful Hopkins will go anywhere near him. No doubt use the "not enough money/too unknown excuse". In reality who can blame Hopkins. Considering his career and all the trials he has had with promoters and networks, he should be alble to pick his last big fight or two.

Regarding money: Does anyone know what Kovalev made for this fight? I recall reading that he only made like 20K for the Campillo fight and that was his hightest professional payday. Hard to believe a top fighter (at least now) has made so little money to this point. Most of ESB's adult poster's may earn more annual income that Kovalev. At least up to now. That is clearly about to change, at least one would hope for Sergey's sake.

    I believe Kovalev stops Cleverly.

The fight I always wanted to see was Kovalev vs Dawson. Sadly, however, "Bad" Chad has apparently seen better days.
