Both are too big now. They will earn money and only boxing would hurt. It would need alot of people to stop buying into them as products but I think we are too far gone now.

To be fair I think Mayweather is right up there with the best of them defensively, he's just less proven against top class fighters than the likes of Whitaker, Benitez and the others.

I guess how easy he often makes it look gives you a fair indication. He just needed to add the Hopkins smirk, as if to say ''get a day job you joker'' - that a few others have used.

You're right, Arum should've wasted more time with someone who doesn't want the fight, and not pursued a fight that a lot of fans would be nearly as happy to see, the third fight between two equally proven competitors, that have history, guarantee fireworks and clash styles in a way that we rarely get the pleasure to see.
