I became a fan of Lomachenko when he didn't make any excuses.

That certainly enhanced my respect for him :good But if he had made an excuse for the fight I wouldn't have been able to fault him :good

Bad scoring IS a legitimate excuse.

If this happens to you, I give you free reign to complain about it for the rest of your life.

It's always been a part of boxing, like bad refs. If it goes your way, fine. If it doesn't, don't make any excuses. I can't remember a boxer not accepting a gift win so don't b-itch about bad scoring that goes against you. It won't change anything.

I can remember a boxer not accepting a gift win. And it was the one, the only, Richie 'Good Lad' Woodhall.

Sergio Martinez' Knee. despite this being blatantly obvious Sergio didnt use it as an excuse. Every fighter has one last great fight left in them . . . .sadly for Sergio it was the Chavez jr. fight

This a disqualification, and it is a fair disqualification imho. He hits him seconds after taking his knee. This dumb soto didnt know even rules of boxing, what a shame. You CANNOT hit a guy with his knees on the ground, if you do that you are disqualified. Not so hard to understand. Soto continued hitting and said that cortez didnt say stop, wtf, the guy was on his knees you dont have to wait for the referee to say anything, just stop hitting. For me joe cortez did fine, no one will agree with me, but thats my opinion.
