Well there is currently no UK TV network to promote it so I guess not. All the places where the pressers have been held are in countries where their tourney boxer(s) is (/are) actually backed up by a TV company. It's a stupid situation for us fans.
Just read that all fight involving Kessler will be shown on ppv in Denmark. 500K (95usd!!, so that's £50 or something??) Holy ****.
Yeah but who else is a superstar in Denmark? Lars Ulrich and Peter Schmeichel are the only two others I can think of.
Also, I do feel a bit for Froch at the moment. Huge numbers on ITV last year in a FOTY candidate where he became a genuine world titlist from the UK and he can't even get a TV company to back him:-(. I think it's a given that Sky have been tapping up Hennessey on the sly, though. The plan looks as if the first round of fights in the tourney are going to be double headers. If that is the case then I'm sure we can all expect to see the fights on PPV.
Here is a fwq qoutes i picked up from Mick Hennessey from the nottingham paper, dosent tell us anything we didnt knowe, but at leas t he is trying to get someting
