Is there really any question that Lomachenko IS the #1 P4P fighter?

No..... imo Lomachenko is the P4P numerous uno.

 

A lot of us think he's the best fighter today (including myself), but not necessarily number 1 on our P4P lists.
IMO he's number 4.

 

He has a case for P4P number 1. But what I'm trying to figure out is why ESPN.com and Ring Magazine have GGG as no.2 behind Gonzalez. Imo Ward, Loma, Gonzalez are my top 3 p4p.

you know you can compare boxers to boxers of the past but iv never been able to do that with lomachenko, he isnt' like anyone from the past, i don't think i can rememeber anyone who has ever boxed like that, a technically perfect fight who is offensive, who has super human footwork, great hands and a boxing brain that is like something out of the matrix

Well he's for sure higher than Golovkin. There are others that deserve to be above him. I can't rate him #1 solely on the eye test, that's stupid.

 

He will be one day but not yet

Who did you beat...how good did you look against them.
Who have you beat in the last few years..what achievements did you receive in doing that...how good did you look against them.

To me, he is better than anyone out there, but he hasn't proven it as completely as the others have.

It is a grey area for me. Lomachenko has achieved what no man in history has achieved in 8 pro fights. In fact, he achieved the world record in just his third pro fight - was I to put Lomachenko in the P4P list for that alone?

With a few more victories, Lomachenko will take P4P no.1.

I agree with this. Loma's best wins eclipse GGG's at this point, but that ain't that hard to do. HBO made GGG p4p 1 on the eye test and little else as far as I can tell. Other guys have have better wins. It's too early to call him p4p king, imo. Am definitely bullish, though.
