Is there really any question that Lomachenko IS the #1 P4P fighter?

They did an article last week stating that Gonzalez would remain pound for pound number 1. Maybe you should've googled it if you didn't know because you know what they say about people who ASSume?

    Well you've just done it.

How can I be banned when I'm right here mopping the floor with you?

Anyway, if that was the case, then why did you say ESPN AND The Ring

This is well said. I am a big fan of Loma, but I would not rate him number one yet based on his resume as of this point (which is stellar, but lacks volume). Give him a couple of years though and a few more victories against top guys and I am almost certain he will be in that position.

Its definitely very subjective. If we based it mainly on "who you beat" then fighters like Ggg would either not be ranked or be very low on the list while fighters like Ward and Canelo who have fought and beat top level opposition would be ranked very high.

Lomachenko imo has beat top level opposition, better opposition than lets say GGG and Kovalev, and because the way he has dominated, using skills that are clearly above anyone else on the P4P list I have to rank him #1.

Below is a more articulate definition of P4P than I could write out.

How many fights into his pro career? You can't seriously think Salido (I'm a HUGE fan) is better P4P, or skill wise than Lomachenko.

Any other fighter would get dismissed with such a bad loss on their record, for any reason.

No..Lomachenko has much better skillset, but he feared Salido's heavy hands.

That'll never happen but it'd be a great fight. Hard to tell who wins that one. Think Loma should chill at 130 for a while though unless its hard for him to make weight. Test himself and fight a really good inside fighter/pressure fighter.

Agreed. A combination of Pac/RJJ with an EE twist. Dude is the real deal. His best next fight would really be to run it back with Salido. Or another pressure/inside fighter/dog fight type of guy.
