Herbert the Pervert is playing more of his games. Top Rank a sinking ship.

The thing I find really odd is that Gamboa had been calling Rios out ever since Rios won the title. Now that he had a chance to fight Rios for the vacant title he backs out. This fight was not Rios' idea but he finally agreed after Cameron Dunkin offered the fight to him. It is a wierd situation.

not wanting to fight Rios is perfectly understandable. Even for a guy as talented as Gamboa considering he's moving up 2 weight divisions to face a top level 135 fighter.

Still, calling the guy out, staying silent all the way up to a press con and making people believe you want the fight and then not showing up at the presscon is another thing. He could have handled the whole thing better, any **** that comes is way for that stunt he pulled is his fault.

I understand if he feels it's the only way he could bring attention to his situation where he feels but he is being royally screwed over by Arum but in the end, he made people believe that he wanted this fight and now the fans are the ones who feel screwed over.

Why would Arum want to sabotage the fight?

Hey *****s, I know it's hard to be objective because well, you're *****s, but guess what Gamboa called out Rios. Secondly, there is no evidence that Gamboa never signed anything. Look at Top Rank's track record of people trying to leave them: Omar Henry, Donaire, etc. They're back with TR. Arum isn't an idiot guys, come on.

    :deal

Either Rios is just stupid of staying at 135 or Gamboa is just stupid enough to take a much bigger guy and on a weight division he's not even gone through.

why would he not agree to such a fight? This is a big fight that could shape his career, if there is any sneaky backdoor deal Arum is offering then gamboa could just tweet or say to the media what is wrong with taking the fight.

Lets say for example, a fight with rios also includes a contract extension for him to be under TR for X years then Arum is to blame, but so far there is nothing coming out of gamboa's mouth. So yeah right now, gamboa deserves the criticism

exactly it doesn't make sense that arum would care for fighters not on the level of his cashcows like pac or jcc jr.

I don't buy the blame arum angle here, if gamboa sees something not right with arum's offer then he could just say it simple.
