I'm pretty sure it has to do with Arum's new plans of NOT making Gamboa-Juanma for the Puerto Rican Day Parade (Cotto will headline as usual). So Gamboa can get a "free" fight though he'd love to fight Lopez right now.

The German fight is cool. Yuri started his new life there, pretty much made that big noise there so he immediately got main events in the US, has a lot of fans in Germany and Arena recently signed a deal with Sat1 TV, so he'd get more money and about 3-5 times better ratings than on HBO. Germany has a significantly larger market on free TV, so why not give a fight to the German fans who really were the first to rave about Gamboa's talent?

No I wouldn't lay 4-1 on Gamboa. The guy has been down more times than Pamela Anderson. I think he should be favored, but Mtagwa is no joke. The guy has a lot of losses on his record but he can fight. If Gamboa gets careless, it will be lights out.

No offense, man, but I suggest you recheck your currency converter. Otherwise, I'd like to offer you dollars for your sterling :yep
