What a differance a fight can make. Fury unseating Klischko has compeltely re-oriented the heavyweight division.

Previously, a lot of us were salivating for Usyk, a man who proved his heavyweight credentials beyond a doubt with amatuer and semi-pro wins over some of the best in the world, to win his crusierweight belt and move up. Now, all of a sudden, the division is flush and it looks like he might want to stay at crusier until things thin out.

Should he stay or move up into a division with a great new champ, other interesting titlists, impreseive contenders and prospects:

    Fury
    Klitschko
    Povetkin
    Ortiz
    Wilder
    Haye
    Pulev
    Martin
    Joshua
    Parker
    Breazele
    Chagaev
    Helenius
    Wallisch
    Wallin
    Granate
    Kuzman

    Etc.

He needs to step up at CW first, before we can see what he could,do at the elite level HW scene.

HW will be very crowded over the next few years

He needs to establish himself at CW first and develop skills and a name for himself. Then maybe, and it's a big MAYBE, he can look at HW.

fact is that usyk is skillwise already better at CW than haye ever was. the division is very strong right now but i think he will beat everybody.

if kudryashov would change his coach he would be unstoppable

Yea, and we saw what anon Durodola did to Kudryashov which "was" another almighty terminator in CW. So far he hadn't fight even solid cruiser yet, so please stop that hype.

I am not sure he has the size and the punching power to be a dominant heavyweight but he will clean out the cruiserweight division no doubt.

There is no comparison between Usyk and Kudryashov. Kudryashov lacks the amateur experience Usyk has, he only has punching power and limited skills, no defense. Usyk is the complete opposite of Kudryashov in everything.

Of course, obviously, Usyk has better amateur background, and imo more skilled, and use a lot of intelligence in the ring. But he is still untested, and amateur background doesnt change it. He fight noone in CW so far, maybe Muller only, but he is still only average boxer. Let him fight someone from (even) top 20 of CW division and let's see how will he show himself.

Only guys i would not pick him to beat are Fury, WLad(would not happen i think he is Klitcshko fighter) against every other fighter he can win. I know i will catch heat for this but he beats Joshua, Chisora etc to put it this way he is easily top 10 fighter at HW.

He's 6'3" I think, the same kind of frame that Ali, Joe Louis, and Holyfield had. He's probably around 210-215 naturally and has a hard time cutting down to the 200 pound limit. We've got guys in there right now who are shorter with less reach and skills. Mansour I think is only like 6 foot but thicker with bigger muscles. Povetkin and Haye are both about Usyk's size though, so's Cunningham and Bryant Jennings. He won't dominate in this division, but he might make the top ten.
