I'm a small guy and very nimble. I skateboarderd for 10 years and was very good at the balance aspects such as grind rails which involved balanced on 2 millimeters of metal on metal contact, often on a slope. Also the first skill you learn in skateboarding is how to fall correctly for avoid falling period. I can clearly say that a man anywhere close to Lewis size would not be able to recover from having his center of gravity that far behind his legs.

 

You could argue it was, sure. Lewis stumbled backwards, a punch caused it and the ropes propped a possible fall to the canvas.

Does it matter? Nah. Lewis then beat the brakes off Briggs bouncing him up and down for the remainder of the fight.

Ironically the ref calls the fight on a knockdown that shouldn't have been called after Briggs through a Hail-Mary left hook that Lewis judged to avoid.

 

Lewis also should’ve had a KD called against him vs Akinwande where his glove touched down after he was hit.

 

ROFLMAO Akinwande was too busy hugging & holding Lewis to ever knock him down I thjink Mills Lane summed him up right saying " Henry do you want tofight tonight or dance" ?? Finally had enough & said " OK Fred Astaire youre outta here" & rightfully DQ'd him

Id say no but would have no problem with any ref counting it as such

 

Imagine if he had a defense or punch accuracy, he fought like a wild lunatic.

 

Akinwande would have grabbed him as soon as he got up anyway.

 

Laugh all you want it was a 100% knock down from huggin Henry and I'm a Lewis fan.
