Is this a photo of the Marciano Walcott knockout blow? (not that it really matters...)

The pic in the link was the 7th round. Marciano landed a pretty good right on Walcott, but it did not drop or ko Joe.The pic in the first post was the ko pic.

Yes. That was the same camera angle I used to freeze frame the footage and thought that the position of Walcott's left arm was slightly different from the boxrec photo but that could have been due to the angle and the camera lens.

I agree. I never really dwelled on it before. So I stopped the film right when the KO shot takes place, then took a pic of the pic on my phone and have been looking/comparing them. A couple of things to note:

    1) This is the same section of the ring. Note in the pic, between Rocky's legs just to the right of the turnbuckle, the 4 photogs huddled together and then look at the film. The 4 photogs in the foreground. So we know this is the exact spot of the KO.

    2) Check out Joe's legs. The bend on Joe's left leg, but mostly look at the right leg. The rope is right in the knee joint with the leg slightly back almost on the apron. Compare that to the freeze frame on the film. Something this subtle could not be replicated. IMO, this shot is the KO blow.
