Is this at least the second best era ever for the HW division?

    nah, i'd take today's over the 80's...

    today's HW division certainly isn't the best, but its not as bad as people make it seem. problem is (not for me) most of the talent isn't from America, so naturally American's and the media hate all of the fighters and couldn't care less about them. if they were American you can bet people would be screaming about how deep the talent pool is. one real problem i do see however is the relectance of contenders to fight each other. back in the day the #2 fought the #3 and the winner fought the #1. these days it don't happen and most avoid each other and then cash out on a K-Bro. that ish needs to stop. but with 5 belts/sanctioning bodies, i doubt it does...so the real problem is lack of organization, good (not great) talent is around...

    No, Marciano's era was a **** era. Apart from two superb fighters on the way down (not Louis or Moore), and LaStarza, who was admittedly quality (although not the same after the 1st Rocky fight), that era was truly awful. From everything I have read, Vingo would have been somebody, but he never got the chance to prove it. The lack of depth was insane in the early 50s. Joey Maxim wasn't at the top of his game at this point...

    Adamek would get knocked out easily by Carl Williams and Tony Tucker as well as anyone else not named Klitschko and maybe Haye.

    And Tony Tucker and Williams are live dogs in those fights as well.

    And don't even get me started on Frank Bruno or the guy who Tyson beat 4 years ago, Larry Holmes, who went on to beat a PRIME Mercer. An old as hell Mercer is Wlad's BEST WIN!!!

    And in the 80's the main guy, Tyson DECIMATED the old Champ. It wasn't even CLOSE. And this, again, is 4 YEARS before Holmes beat a PRIME version of the BEST GUY on Wlad's resume.

    When Vitali tried to fight his aging champion, he got the **** BEAT OUTTA HIM. His eyeball almost popped out and he was holdin on like a homosexual.

    Tyson BEAT THE **** outta Holmes.

    So let's be reasonable.

    Ya'll that say Frank Bruno can't fight are ****IN idiots. Watch his first fight against Tyson. He came to **** TYSON up, but got ****ED UP.

    HE fought hard as ****.

    When Wlad got tagged, he falls down without being hit, like the second time he was knocked down against Sanders. He didn't even get TOUCHED.

    It was pathetic.

    Next thing you know, he's crawlin around lookin like he's tryin to get ****ed in his ass.

    He has no FIGHT in him.

Getting HAmmered by that Fuken Glass Jawed Journeymen and quit on his stool like little *****. and they call this man the baddest Man ever boxed. hahah fuken heartless little punk he was and so was his pathetic crack addict opponents who was **** scared before the whole Fight started. Not to mention being one of those Minor KO Victims of Evander Holyfield bailing out of the second Fight biting Holyfield at ear. what a JOKE:good:lol:
