Is this era really that weak, why didn't Floyd have a nemesis?

Also, Leonard had a couple of questionable decisions. Namely, Hagler and Hearns II.

You do realize that Mayweather has been boxing professionally since 1996 and won his 1st Title from HOF boxer Genaro Hernandez at 130lbs in 1998 don't you. It has also been well covered that Mayweather called out and chased both DLH and Mosley for years.

Sure he retired once for a short while after two great scalps, wow he went away for a bit = the self proclaimed TBE who'd just beaten DLH at 154 and undefeated Hatton stepped back for a year and a half, sure he was terrified. And wow he didn't fight Margarito and if he did you'd say omg another plodder (who 75% on a recent poll here said Mayweather wins), we all know both sides of May vs Pac and how they quadrupled their money. Mayweather didn't avoid competition though, that's why his resume is impressive, he has fought stellar competition for the most part (who the paying audience demanded he fight, off their biggest wins)... he is in a different era and he shouldn't have to go up two divisions or not get any credit for draining a middleweight ie Maravilla or Golovkin to 154... you just can't win lol. Critique every fighter like this and you'd be surprised your argument isn't as strong as you believe in most cases.
