Hopefully he wins. I won't be surprised if he looks out of shape and gets starched.

Lets hope that doesn't happen. Then Wilder will duck Aj and have his trilogy with dinosaur Ortiz all the while ducking Dillian Whyte again and claiming Andy Ruiz is his best friend so he doesn't have to fight him

I wouldn't class Seferi and Pianeta as proper lineal title defenses, they were exhibitions really.

But the first Wilder fight has to be a successful defense, surely.

    Indeed...

That belt would once again be hostage to the tin can defence parade.

In his whole career Wilder has only ever tried to fight two serious boxers - one was hopelessly out of shape (Fury); the other was a mandatory and conveniently failed a drugs test.

He's not about to go chasing AJ or Usyk if he wins, now is he?
He'll probably find a convenient excuse for Whyte to cease being mandatory too.

    It's already cursed

rummy has finally predicted a Fury win and cursed it.

Fury is going to get hit by a bolt of lightning or something during the fight & Wilder will win by a technical decision.

Tyson Fury is a being beyond imagination. His godlike existence and power cancels out Rummys curse. Not even Teddy Atlas can make Fury loose.

The only person who can beat Tyson Fury is himself. Thats why if Aj beats him next year it won't count. Nobody beats a prime focused Fury

Fury has been a lineal champion for over 5 years.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the longest reign out of all the current world champions.

Explain to me again how someone can "retire" and still be lineal champion? Also, if that same person got into trouble for PEDs, wouldn't they take his "lineal" title away too? Or am I making way too much sense?
