Vid suggesting that Yankello isn`t a good coach, showing a move by Orlando Canilazales and comparing it to Manny and JMM doing it better. Is this pivot bad coaching and was Canizales overrated? I never understood why an inferior fighter like Billy Hardy gave Canizales so much trouble in their first meeting.

I thought that it was him. I looked at his Facebook page and read some of his comments. He teaches boxing fitness classes. He said that he has never trained a real fighter for an actual fight but, some day he would sure like to try. His fitness students think that he really knows boxing.
Tom Yankello has been training amateur and professional boxers to have real fights against other trained boxers for a long time. Other boxing guys say that Tom Yankello knows boxing. The Fouts guy is a self proclaimed expert, acknowledged mostly by those that don't know any better.
There could be any number of reasons why Canizales had to fight to beat Billy Hardy. Hardy was a pro fighter, with skills, condition, determination and courage getting the chance of a lifetime; you would expect to fight hard.
What people don't understand about boxing, it's a job. Some days you go to work and you just aren't feeling it, just one of those days. And, just like any other job, you suck it up and do your best.
