He got a lot of recognition because of his proposed fights with Wlad. I for one had never heard of him. Now he´s much better known than before and may well be paid step-aside money due to the cancellation of the fight. He probably would have lost big against Wlad. Now he can take a winnable fight and may well get a shot at Wlad later. What do you think, did the two cancellations actually benefit him?
Didn't exactly hear an outcry of rage from Chisora over the last couple of days. I wonder if he has been paid off? (I hope he was) Has he commented at all on the 2nd cancellation of his Wlad fight?
It kinda hurt him cos hes been inactive but hes got a lot of attention now and he basically is a world title challanger who hasnt lost a fight. Needs to **** Fury up good and thn get his title shot again.
It's not good. More than likely, he'll fail to get into mandatory position. Not unless Wlad decides to give him another title shot...
As British champ Tyson is his mandatory, if he doesnt defend against him within the next few months he may be stripped. With Helenius-Peter on the horizon I dont see many options for Chisora anytime soon on a European level, if he wanted to go that route. Having watched the guy for a while I know he'll be gutted that Wlad pulled out twice. He is a character, despite the bad press hes had I do like the guy, the Chisora-Fury press conferences will be world class, proper funny. Hopefully Chisora-Fury in May.
Good? No, it's great. The guy got himself a name in the division and can now brag how Wlad is ducking him. He couldn't even dream of this kind of promotion.
Harrison didn't get into a mandatory position. They moved him up the ranks for the Haye bout because it was a voluntary defense, but he wasn't his mandatory.
