I am going to this, pretty much to see Tony Conquest and I recognise a few names form a past Goodwin event I've been to, but are there any other names on there I should keep an eye out for? http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=643571
IMO This is a very good small hall show, i'd mark it 4 out of 5. You've got prospects, title fights. Evenly matched ones as well, plus a depth in fights. To look out for obviously Whyte, The Richard Commey-Kris Hughes fight is intriguing. Thanks for bringing it up, may go to it.
I'm actually looking forward to it, their last show I wnt to about 15 months ago was pretty decent. Normally I'd get my tickets via Tony but I took advantage of an offer from Goodwin in that they'll bump you up to ringside for the cost of a standard ticket, although you had to purchase by last Saturday I think to get that 'upgrade'. Well if you do decide to go, have a good one!
Thanks mate, same to you :good. Amazing to think Williams-Conquest was penciled in for start of year as a British title fight.
just a wee uypdate ,hughes has injured and not fighti9ng any more mate ,was told this last night .intresting fight i thought aswelll
About as good as you can get for a small hall show no tv. Comparatively there is a small hall show on near me this weekend. Which has one competitive fight on and at a pretty low level no disrespect to the boxers involved and the rest prospect v journeyman http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=643507 I wont be attending but I assume all the boxers mates will be
