Is this kid going to be the next great?

He's definitel a phenom for his age, but I wouldn't be surprised if he faded into obscurity before he hit the big time. In fact I'd be a lot more surprised if he did become a name in the future.

 

he's dad seems to look at him pretty well so i guess if everything going fine we will hear from him in 10 years. He look to punch much harder then paulie!!

 

The kid also does christian rap, and dances also. Boxing is just one of many talents he is involved with. He was on a show about 6 months ago doing all kinds of stuff.

 

Damn that last combo, i wish i could do that ****!

Yeah ... he's going to have alot of attention ... i'm sure that he's a future world champion ... he was in a video working the pads with Pretty boy Floyd holding em (Ludacris/undisputed) ...

I think that he's a talent and as long as he stays in boxing that he's going to do good ...

I hope that he can handle the pressure as he gets older ... i'm sure he'll have the support ... and the world class training and tutorials.

He's the next Tiger Woods of boxing.Remember when Tiger was on the talk show when he was 6? Who would have thought?

 

Oscar- I feel like Bam Bam is picking on me. He's the one who called me out, I'm just answering his challenge. A lot of people don't think I can do this but I'm confident because if I defeat him, I'll have defeated another P4P great fighter.

Just to repeat what many posters have already said though.
This isn't football. This is Boxing. If you can't take a good shot, then you ain't going to get anywhere in this sport.
Likewise, if he loses interests, gets thrown in at the deep-end, or just gets unlikely, it could all spell disaster.
Little room for error in this sport. It's as mental as it is physical.
Great talent though.

 

Many peeps predicted that this kid will surely be a champ someday. He's an actor right now which mean this kid is doing a man's job at a very early age. Hope this kid won't burn out early.

 

I had a couple who came very close who I trained. They were eight year olds back in Boston. One took up baseball and the other unfortunately took up crime. He is actually one of my former police officer's son. I have to admit that Bam Bam is a talent, but we will see next year due to the father saying that he is going to compete. I have seen plenty of guys come into the gym and learn everything like a good amatuer or Pro and when they get in the ring, it is a different story. Most of you posters already mentioned about taking a punch. I wish him happiness in whatever he chooses to do in the future and just hope he doesn't get pushed into it as he gets older.
