Just yesterday I was a PAC fan, but after listening to a whole load of bs I am strictly a Floyd fan. Why do people sip that haterade for Floyd when they don't even check themselves first? Like, are you even a boxer or a prizefighter? I see the same thing happening between Bob Arum and PAC fans. Bobby boy keeps saying Inoue is better than pacman! Which in all due respects he had a few points: what has PAC done recently? Who is making him the bigger bucks right now and also it's a young man's sport. Ok got that out of the way now. Lord bless Marvin Hagler for what he went through. The loss to Leonard. Yet you don't see p r I c Kay's devoting their whole life hating on sugar Ray Leonard. It's like nowadays everything is built off of ethnocentricity. Or so it seems... Man when people talk about the fab four, they never leave one out making it fab 3 or less. Heck old heads appreciate the greats, as real recognize real. What good is it to be a rabid dog to your favorite fighter, let me rephrase that. It's natural to pick sides but at the same time why does one tear down the opposition that's all I want to know. Why? Because of geography??? Lol, Man just spent the last hour trolling Floyd/Manny posts. It's despicable how obnoxious PAC fans ride Mayweather into the ground lol. Why can't people appreciate both. I guess it's kinda the same way (their fans) attack as their idols do: PAC fans fight a crazy offense of offenciveness, while Floyd fans mount no offence just a good defence taking the criticism in strife. This is one thing I can't appreciate about the sport yet am so compelled with it. I hate haterade yet I appreciate big fanfare! Lol correct me if I'm wrong, sorry about the rant. I've realized we've still been pretty blessed this last array of fights closing out 2023 or even pretty much the whole year. Peace and prosperity, may 2024 come in like a bang! And not the bang bang bang Jim Lampley does during Emmanuel Clottey vs Manny Pacquiao! On that note my new years resolution is to show more love to PAC fans!

Fandoms, boxing or otherwise, rarely attract reasonable comment. When coupled with stupidity it's not a good combination. As to your point about 'ethnocentricity' I am not exactly sure what you mean. Race and nationalism have always been a part of this sport and the situation has improved in some respects, though there is a long way to go.
