Its body shots that will win this for Margo and I said before Pac made break his hand this fight if Margo comes in over 160+.

i didn't read all that because i am lazy, but if i was margo, i would fight like one dirty ass MFer

grap, hold, push, hit on breaks, hit on the hips, the whole nine yards...if he loses a point, so be it, he aint winning on the cards unless he totally frustrates pac by the 4th or 5th anyway

This fight has buster douglas vs tyson written all over it.
Margarito needs to slow him down with bodywork which will cost him a lot of rounds early on after then tangle pac up clinch and uppercut him. clinching is the best move that way he can get close land and hold before the little guy is away. I still think pac ud. but its gonna be really tough for him.

Do you think Margo will get the opportunity to make those body punches count though? given that I anticipate he will have a small window of opportunity when fatigue sets in, where Pac might start to become a bit more stationary, which will most probably in the later rounds? cause im thinking, to make them pay dividends, would he need to start throwing them early, and what chance does he have of landing them early when Manny is fresh, and is able to move a lot more?

Like another guy said it will be Margos' body work and his size that is key to Margo wining this fight.

He has to throw them early,my only concern is Pac will not be as fast this fight as he were in others ,I don't see Margo getting tired ,but I do see Pac getting weak after the 6rd ,hell I could be wrong I could be right thats why we watch the sport I've love the most ,but its the right hand to the body (uppercut) fashion that will win it for Margo.

Exactly. He needs to make it a rough dirty fight. Pac really doesnt do well when bullied. If he can **** Pac off then Pac will want to go crazy and trade regardless of what anyone tells him. Then Margos lack of speed wont be as big of a factor and the size will play a huge part in it.

Problem Margo has IMO, is getting from A to B to apply those body shots, as he has no jab, well, its not particularly good one anyway. How does he close the gap to apply those body attacks, and not get leathered himself on the way in, cause that is what will happen if he tries to walk in imo, which is why I think if he does go to the body, it will be because Manny has become more stationary target due to fatigue.

Pacquiao can't let himself back onto the ropes, Margarito will have a field day with his body shots. But like you said, Margarito needs to get from A to B to get those body shots off (and with Pacquiao being a lot more mobile...) especially if the bout is in the centre of the ring, which is what I see happening.

Also, some people seem to believe that Margarito will be able to handle Pacquiao's punching power, which he might well do...but said people then assume that Margarito will just walk Pacquiao down and possibly stop him because he can handle Pacquiao's power.
However, I believe they are overrating Margarito in this sense...especially when Pacquiao is not Cotto, and I doubt he gets walked down as easily as Cotto did in the later rounds of their bout. Speed will be the key factor in this bout, and that is in favour of Pacquiao...expect a DLH repeat...Pacquiao will make Margarito walk onto shots (whether they are hurting him or not) for 12 rounds, if not a late TKO.

If he can keep it up, his best chance to win is to average 80-100 punches. If he can do this, he wins the fight.

People think that the speed difference is going to be comparable to Gatti/Mayweather. But what if Margo can take his punch and walk him down? The size difference is going to be huge. Ten pounds and six inches both in height and arm length.

    Margo is coming to fight.

What if Margo has success applying pressure, but becomes so embroiled in putting his hands on Manny, that he gets hit with a punch he does not see?

Morales did not have a great jab. In fact, Morales(prime) reminds me of a smaller version of Margarito except with better footwork. They both could throw with both hands but needed to land a plethora of shots to get someone out of there. They won with heart and determination.

The way for Margo to beat Paq is to throw punches and keep the pressure on. I hope that's their plan but Garcia seems to be stressing patience which will probably lose him the fight.

He is going to get hit with plenty of punches. That's part of the deal.

He lands one punch to Paq's two, he eventually breaks him down because of his strength and size.

Whoever thinks that this is going to go down like Hoya or Clottey is going to be greatly disappointed.

Margo is coming to fight and appears to be very physically prepared.

I thought that, slowing Margo down, making him more defensive, will just give Pac more time and space, and help him fight at a lesser tempo, only its a catch 22 cause Margo needs a good defense if he is going apply pressure.
